Our Story

Born over a dining table dinner in San Sebastian, Spain the concept for Pinchy’s was the birth child of many sunkissed long lunches where friendship and good wine flowed freely.

Basking in our seaside glow we drank, ate and reminisced about holidays past. It was a time of passionate conversation and divine relaxation where laughter echoed loudly as we enjoyed some of the best dining experiences in the world. 

Pinchy’s was created out of the desire to capture the essence of those memories, designing an experience that indulges our nostalgia and delights our guests. Our aim is to enable the perfect setting for long, enjoyable dining experiences that encourage you to make unique new memories with your nearest and dearest.

Inspired by the coastal setting of San Sebastian, our menu comprises an array of delectable, wild caught sustainable seafood. With our smaller portions we encourage you to travel through the menu, try a little of everything, share, experiment and then revisit your favourites with gusto. 

Taking you on a journey across the globe, our premium wines have been selected to evoke the senses and stimulate seaside memories, as you create new ones here with us.

Our white wines have been lovingly curated to elevate and enhance. They are light, fresh and elegant on the palette, which compliments each dish to complete our signature style. Our red wines are light, soft and juicy. Chablis and Burgundy are places close to our heart and it brings us great joy to see guests experience this part of the world in our restaurant.

With affordable prices, we hope to provide unparalleled accessibility to such a luxurious and indulgent product.

The Pinchy’s pair and husband and wife, Jeremy and Samara are the brains and brawn behind the Pinchy’s brand.

Jeremy’s 25 year background in hospitality and passion for mixology, premium bars and dining experiences pair perfectly with Samara’s finance, accounting and operational acumen. Both passionate about business and food, this dynamic duo love nothing more than creating incredible dining experiences for their guests.

Pinchy’s passion for food ‘Made by Sea’ and knowing where our produce comes from underlies our goal of offering quality seafood, served well. It comes at a time where diners are increasingly becoming conscious of their impact on the environment by their food choices, especially with seafood and where it has been harvested. Our commitment to sustainable sourcing starts with directly working with fisheries in Maine and Alaska, USA, where their world-leading international and environmental standards not only preserves this delicate finite resource for future generations, but offers the best in quality, taste and deliciousness too.

The naturally clean Atlantic waters off Maine and the pristine glacial icy waters of the Bering Sea in Alaska are free of pollution, industrial waste and over fishing makes their produce the most sought after and valuable seafood in the world. So, if you care about where your food comes from you’ll be happy to know that your lobster and king crab are sourced from sustainable fisheries in Maine and Alaska.
